Construction
Webb & Webb’s attorneys have extensive experience in construction law and construction-related litigation through representing general contractors, suppliers, developers, subcontractors, and owners in matters relating to almost every type of governmental, commercial, and residential construction.
During contract formation and the bidding process, our services include preparation of construction contract documents, bid documents, and notices, and we provide ongoing counseling during construction regarding contract requirements and dispute resolution. We pursue and defend construction-related claims, including those pertaining to mechanic’s liens, delay and acceleration claims, and rights and duties under performance and payment bonds.
Additionally, Webb & Webb’s attorneys have significant experience representing contractors and subcontractors in the negotiation of construction contract documents and counseling them with regard to the potential liability associated with their business structures. We routinely represent contractors with respect to procurement issues on public projects, as well as their rights and duties under the Miller Act and Texas Property Code and the Texas Government Code.
